On Saturday 22 June, dozens of professional and amateur photographers took part in a Borough-wide project to capture a day in the life of Bedford.
35 residents volunteered to submit their photos, ranging from the moon rising over Roff Avenue to sunset at the Gurdwara in Queens Park.
“The aim was to showcase the diversity of a typical day in Bedford,” said Bedford Independent co-managing editor, Erica Roffe.
“We were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of our photographers and so grateful to everyone who took part.
“We wanted to find the extraordinary in the ordinary and the photographers have definitely delivered the goods.
“The professional submissions by Darren Marsh, Darren Rose and Neil McCarty and the drone shots captured by Adam Cochrane all let us look at Bedford from a different perspective
“Every single person who took part has helped us document Bedford in 2019. We can’t wait to do it again next year.”
