Step into the world of John Bunyan when you visit this delightful 15th century timber-framed market hall, set on the village green, in the centre of the delightful village of Elstow.
Elstow Green is a delightful place for a picnic on a summer’s day and access is free all year round. So why not bring the family, have a picnic on the green or visit Elstow Tea Garden. Then go take a look at the beautiful interior of Moot Hall and the Abbey Church (the remains of a once much-larger Abbey) and the ancient timber-framed buildings on Elstow’s High Street
Opening Times:
1. Saturdays; From Easter (or the beginning of April), to the end of October. Times; from 1pm to 4pm.
2. Bank Holiday Mondays; from 1pm to 4pm.
3. Heritage Weekend; Saturday and Sunday afternoon, from 1pm to 4pm, when admission is free.
4. Casual Visitors; If the curator is available, he may open the Hall on request – see details on the notice board on Elstow Green.
