The Higgins Bedford is Bedford’s art gallery and museum. A community hub where the inspiring stories of local people and places are celebrated. A lively programme of temporary exhibitions and events is accompanied by displays that show how the town and surrounding area has developed.
The world-renowned art collection includes unique groups of work by the designers William Burges and Edward Bawden as well as works by internationally recognised artists including JMW Turner, John Constable, Barbara Hepworth, Pablo PIcasso, Andy Warhol and David Hockney. It’s free to visit and has something for everyone.
