Citizen Journalists
The Place Theatre recently announced the winners of their Resident Review Writer competition for young local citizen journalists.

Kezia-Rose Johnston (18) won the aged 16-25 category, and Isabelle Brazier (9) from Bromham came first in the 9-15 category and you can read their award-winning reviews over the next two days on our blog.

Both girls will become The Place’s Resident Reviewers for the autumn/winter season, and their writing will be published across The Place’s social media platforms as well as on The Bedford Clanger blog and in the magazine.

The competition is an initiative of the Audience Development in the Community Project which started at The Place last spring. Funded by the Harpur Trust, the project aims to create new arts-based opportunities for community-focussed activity.
